From August 12 to 15, Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Semey organized a training seminar on bullying prevention as part of the KiVa program for employees of key schools in the Abai region.

Over the course of four days, teachers from the following educational institutions participated in the training: Karaul Gymnasium in the Abai district, K. Ryskulbekov Secondary School in the Beskaragay district, A. Bokeikhan Kazakh Secondary School in the Borodulikha district, and Zh. Chayzhunov Secondary School in the Kokpektinsky district.

During the seminar, participants learned about the key principles of the KiVa methodology, explored options for adapting it to their school environments, and discussed effective measures to prevent bullying in the classroom. The theoretical material was supplemented with practical exercises, which included discussions on the tools used in the Finnish program and how they can be applied in everyday teaching activities. Additionally, teachers exchanged experiences, collaboratively analyzed specific cases, and developed optimal solutions.

The training was conducted by certified KiVa program specialists Aizhan Akhmetova and Kulyash Naimanova.
