A meeting was held between President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and schoolchildren who are winners and prize-winners of international subject Olympiads. According to the Head of State, triumphs at prestigious international intellectual Olympiads and the promotion of Kazakhstan's image on the world stage are outstanding achievements.

One of the brightest representatives of Kazakhstan’s talented youth is our student Akezhan Askar, who competed on equal terms with the world’s strongest young programmers.

At the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI-2025), held in Bolivia, he won a silver medal and made a significant contribution to strengthening the international prestige of Kazakhstani education. The President highly praised the young intellectual’s success and, in a ceremonial setting, presented Akezhan with a certificate for a cash prize of 1,000 monthly calculation indices.

This success is the result of Akezhan’s hard work and perseverance, the support of his teachers and parents, as well as professional mentoring.
