Achievements of Students at the Republican Olympiad

In March, the Republican Olympiad in natural sciences and mathematics, which gathered the best students from all over Kazakhstan, took place. The students of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey demonstrated impressive results, winning two gold medals and three bronze medals.

At the Olympiad in Informatics and Chemistry in Aktau, two students, who are winners of international competitions, earned prizes. Eleventh-grade student Әkezhan Askar won a gold medal in Informatics, while ninth-grade student Arnur Nurgazin won a bronze medal.

In Astana, a republican competition in Biology and Physics took place, with more than 320 students participating. Among the winners were Alikhan Taskynbaev, who won gold in Biology, and Miras Amirbekov and Damir Yekibaev, who received bronze medals in Physics.
