Nadira Atymtay – A Contender for the Title of Best Geologist in the World

Two students from the Kyzylorda NIS demonstrated excellent results in the national stage of the International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO-2025). Nadira Atymtay took 1st place and will represent the country in the final of the Olympiad, which will take place in August in China.

Adilkhan Torgai also showed a high level of knowledge, securing 2nd place in the tournament rankings.

Significant contributions to the preparation of the young geologists were made by their mentors — teachers Mukhtar Abilmaev and Aray Nurbaeva.

IESO (International Earth Science Olympiad) is an annual competition for school students that covers disciplines such as geology, meteorology, geophysics, oceanography, and astronomy. Kazakhstani teams have represented the country with dignity on the international stage in Brazil, Japan, France, Thailand, and South Korea.
