Dialogue of Generations

As part of the "Generational Continuity" project, an inspiring meeting between students and the "Akniyet" grandmothers' ensemble took place at NIS Kyzylorda. The guests shared the story of their creative journey, performed folk songs, talked about national musical instruments, and presented traditional handicrafts.

The students listened with great interest, asked questions, and admired the guests' craftsmanship. Such meetings not only introduce young people to the heritage of their ancestors but also help them realize the importance of preserving it.

"Grandmothers and grandfathers are a living link to the history, culture, and traditions of our people. They pass down not only invaluable knowledge and wisdom but also customs and crafts. Their stories, songs, and handicrafts are a legacy that must be cherished and passed on to future generations," noted Tore Akhatay, a 9th-grade student and participant of the meeting.
