Onboarding – A Strong Foundation for the Workflow

06 February 2025 14:58

Onboarding for new teachers took place at NIS Kyzylorda, helping them adapt quickly and become familiar with the school's values.

The school's HR manager gave a presentation detailing the NIS employee handbook, corporate culture, and key work principles. This helped newcomers gain a clearer understanding of their roles and responsibilities.

During the meeting, Deputy Director Yerbol Kainarbayev conducted a stay interview with the teachers, where they shared their first impressions, assessed the school's strengths and weaknesses, and discussed their primary needs.

Notably, two computer science teachers joined the NIS teaching team this academic year. Dias Asylbek and Aibek Onalbai are alumni of the school where they now teach, and they are excited to contribute to its development.

"In recent years, HR departments have increasingly used onboarding as part of their work. It is a set of measures aimed at helping new employees integrate into the team and engage in the process from day one. At our school, this approach allows teachers to actively participate in shaping the educational environment. After all, a comfortable working environment is the key to successful student learning," explained HR manager Ulzhan Konysova.
