Alua Abdraim Invited to Six Universities in Hong Kong

Alua Abdraim, a graduate of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kyzylorda, has received offers from Nazarbayev University and six universities in Hong Kong.

She chose Hong Kong Baptist University, one of the world’s top business schools with international accreditation.

“HKBU prepares young professionals for innovative breakthroughs and critical thinking. In the first year, we will take mandatory business courses, and in subsequent years, we can choose one of eight in-demand fields. I plan to continue my studies in the Information Systems program,” Alua explained.

Alua also plans to work in successful global companies to gain experience, which she aims to apply to the digitalization of entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan.

“NIS offers high-quality education, a wide range of clubs and sports activities, a rich library, and engaging competitions and projects. The school has developed my thinking and broadened my horizons. The strong academic program helped me get accepted abroad. I am grateful to all the teachers and classmates for their support throughout my school life.”
