“Intellectuals from Kyzylorda Celebrate Triumph in Creative Competition

The students of Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kyzylorda returned victorious from the VII International Festival-Competition “SHASHU” in Astana, claiming four prestigious prizes at the national level.

In the instrumental category, Alikhan Talgatov, an 11th-grade student, captivated the audience with his rendition of Dauletkerey’s kui “Turikmen,” earning a well-deserved 2nd place. Meanwhile, Nurislam Tolegen showcased his virtuosity by flawlessly performing Makhambet’s intricate kui “Zhumyr, Kylysh,” securing the top position in his division.

In the realm of traditional music, Syrsunkar Bazarbayuly’s rendition of the folk song “Moldabai” not only earned him the coveted Grand Prix but also granted him a ticket to the international competition in Turkey.

Representing the school in the choreographic genre, the dance group “Samga” wowed the audience with their performance, earning them an honorable 2nd place for their creative interpretation of “Zhastyk Shatygy.”
