Gulzat Shyntassova Wins Regional Stage of the 2026 Teaching Ideas Competition

Gulzat Shyntassova, a Kazakh language and literature teacher at Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kyzylorda, has won the regional stage of the national Panorama of Teaching Ideas 2026 competition.

Competing in the Reading Literacy category, she presented her original project, Oisandyq: A Three-Stage Model for Developing Reading Literacy. Her work received a First-Degree Diploma, securing her a place in the national stage of the competition.

This year, the competition received 826 entries from teachers across the region in seven categories. Following the evaluation of their projects, 42 educators were named regional prize-winners.
