Remotion Project Wins Second Place at International Competition in Turkiye

Yerasyl Aidarbek, a Grade 12 student at Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kyzylorda, earned second place as part of the NauanX team at the international Empower Me competition held in Istanbul.

Together with NIS Kyzylorda alumnae Zhuldyzai Munaitbassova, Arailym Ashirmet and Raushan Turganbay, he presented Remotion – an innovative device designed to support the rehabilitation of stroke survivors.

Remotion uses gamification to help patients regain motor function. The system combines hardware controllers, resistance modules and specialised software, transforming conventional rehabilitation exercises into a more interactive and engaging experience.

The project aims to make post-stroke rehabilitation more accessible, effective and motivating for patients.

The NauanX team secured second place in the competition and received a cash prize of USD 5,000.
