Leadership Forum

A regional leadership forum was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Kyzylorda.

Presidents, vice-presidents and coordinators of secondary schools in the region gathered at an open platform to exchange experiences. NIS Director Zhanbyrzhan Bekbolatov welcomed the participants and wished them good luck in the forum.

In the psychological training “We are United”, leaders completed team tasks, developed teamwork skills and collective problem solving. Participants also created models of self-government systems and shared successful projects.

— There were many ideas and interesting solutions in organizing the activities of student self-government. We will apply the experience we gained today in our schools,” shared the president of school No. 268 Asylzat Nurgabyl.

For project coordinators, NIS activists conducted practical classes on developing emotional intelligence, identifying and developing leadership skills among students.

— A true leader must not only develop himself, but also be an example for others. Teamwork leads to success. Proper planning of the work of student self-government helps to increase the school’s rating, says Azat Zhumatai, president of the school-lyceum No. 3 named after S. Tolybek.
