Gainizhamal Berikkyzy – Among the Best Experts in the Kazakh Language

Student of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools in Kyzylorda, Gainizhamal Berikkyzy, has been recognized among the country’s top experts in the Kazakh language after winning third place at the traditional national Olympiad in Kazakh Language and Literature named after Kanipa Bitibayeva.

This year, the Olympiad brought together 220 students from grades 9–11 from across Kazakhstan who successfully passed the regional selection stage. Participants wrote essays, analyzed literary works, and demonstrated their knowledge of Kanipa Bitibayeva’s biography, academic and pedagogical legacy, and publicistic writings.

Gainizhamal’s essay focused on the theme “The School of Mastery in Teaching the Art of Language.” In her work, she explored the power of words, the importance of public speaking, and the role of teaching national literature, showcasing both creativity and a high level of academic preparation.

During the competition, participants were evaluated on language proficiency, literary analysis skills, and critical thinking abilities.

“Gainizhamal’s achievement is the result of consistent preparation and hard work,” noted her mentor, Gulzat Shyntassova.
