NIS Kyzylorda Teacher Wins Grand Prix at “Best Teacher-2026” National Competition

Arai Nurbayeva, a geography teacher at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kyzylorda, has been awarded the Grand Prix of the national “Best Teacher-2026” competition, organized by the Autonomous Educational Organization “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools.”

The prestigious competition brought together 22 educators from across Kazakhstan. Throughout the selection stages, Arai Nurbayeva demonstrated outstanding teaching expertise, an innovative approach to education, and significant professional achievements, earning her the top honor.

With 13 years of teaching experience, including 7 years within the NIS system, Arai Nurbayeva is recognized as an expert teacher. She is actively involved in working groups focused on updating NIS educational programs and developing textbooks.

Her professional portfolio includes several notable achievements:

1st place in the “Panorama of Best Practices” competition

3rd place in the National “Festival of Pedagogical Ideas”

Arai Nurbayeva places strong emphasis on research and methodological work. She is the author of more than seven academic publications at both national and international levels and has presented at major platforms such as WALS, the NIS Conference, and the Toraygyrov Readings.
