Today – Language Day

At Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kyzylorda, various educational activities were held in honor of the Day of the Languages of the People of Kazakhstan.

Before lessons began, students participated in interactive games organized by the Kazakh, Russian, and English language departments. The students assembled word puzzles, created proverbs and sayings from given words, solved riddles, took part in quizzes, searched for idioms, and translated words that were given as clues.

A special highlight was the performance of a traditional kyui by students of non-Kazakh nationality. Ninth-grader Adelina Finansova and tenth-grader Yaroslav Baev played the famous kyui "Adai" on the dombra and guitar.

In addition, a language quest is scheduled for eighth-grade students today, and the ninth-graders will develop their spelling skills in the "Spelling Bee" game.
