Parents’ Sports Festival: NIS Kyzylorda Once Again Wins the Champions’ Cup

The Parents’ Sports Festival of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools has concluded in the city of Taraz. The event was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of world champion Zhaksylik Ushkempirov.

Following the results of the competition, the parents’ team of NIS Kyzylorda took first place in the overall team standings, confirming its leadership for the second consecutive year.

The festival brought together teams from the southern regions of Kazakhstan, including representatives from Kyzylorda, Turkestan, Shymkent, and Taraz. Participants competed in futsal, volleyball, chess, table tennis, archery, the traditional game of lyanqa, and tug of war.

The Kyzylorda team demonstrated strong performances across all disciplines, securing first place in chess, futsal, archery, and tug of war, second place in volleyball and table tennis, and fourth place in lyanqa.

Next year, the Parents’ Sports Festival of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools will be held in Kyzylorda.
