08 April 2026 15:01

Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Qyzylorda hosted a Fathers’ Forum – a meaningful initiative aimed at strengthening the role of the family in raising the younger generation.

During the plenary session, participants explored key aspects of parenting in today’s digital era. Discussions focused on the father’s role as a role model and on nurturing responsibility, awareness, and strong values in children. Particular attention was given to issues such as teenagers’ legal responsibility, digital safety, and the long-term impact of a child’s digital footprint. Participants also received practical guidance on supporting children in online environments and promoting safe internet behavior.

The second part of the forum featured a hands-on program with workshops and interactive sessions. Fathers gained useful insights into organizing quality family time, maintaining healthy nutrition, and promoting personal hygiene. Effective approaches to motivating children in their studies and fostering well-rounded, independent individuals were also discussed.

A special highlight of the event was the creation of a “Tree of Guidance,” where fathers wrote heartfelt messages and advice for their children on apple-shaped notes. These sincere reflections became a symbolic contribution to shaping the values and life perspectives of the younger generation.

The forum provided a platform for open dialogue, experience sharing, and strengthening collaboration between school and families. Initiatives like this play an important role in promoting responsible parenting and creating a supportive environment for children’s holistic development.
