Literary “Aquarium”

As part of the “NIS Reads Together” project, 7th-grade students took part in a session of the “Rukhaniyat” reading club dedicated to the work “Akboz At” by Taken Alimkulov.

During the meeting, students discussed the characters, moral values, and themes of honor, dignity, and respect for national traditions. Special attention was given to group work using the “Literary Aquarium” method. Students created their own “aquariums,” analyzed key episodes of the text, developed character profiles, and presented their findings to classmates.

The session also included an online quiz on the Wordwall platform, where teams tested their knowledge of the text in a competitive format. The winners were:

1st place – Grade 7 “K”

2nd place – Grade 7 “E”

3rd place – Grade 7 “B”

The event contributed to the development of reading culture, fostered interest in Kazakh literature, and promoted respect for national traditions and spiritual values.
