NIS Hackathon: Winners of the Network Stage Announced

The network stage of the NIS Hackathon IT competition has concluded at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Kyzylorda. The event aimed to develop students’ digital skills and engineering thinking and brought together 16 teams presenting their own innovative projects.

According to the results, first place and a prize of 40,000 tenge were awarded to Team SS for their project – a city incident alert system. Second place (30,000 tenge) went to Team Axiom, which developed a web platform for reporting technical works and emergency situations in the city. Third place (20,000 tenge) was won by Team LeClerc with a mobile web application for tracking and analyzing users’ recycled products.

NIS Hackathon 2026 became an important educational platform that promotes the development of IT competencies, project-based thinking, and professional self-determination among students. The competition encourages young innovators to apply their knowledge in practice and prepares them for future careers in technology and engineering.
