“Akberen”: Success of Kyzylorda NIS Students

During the school assembly at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Kyzylorda, students were honored for their achievements in the national “Akberen” competition, which brought together talented schoolchildren from across Kazakhstan.

Aset Baky tbek (supervised by Zhadyra Azhibaeva) won 1st place, while Zamira Abibulla (supervised by Mira Donenkhozhaeva) secured 3rd place.

“Akberen” is a traditional project aimed at fostering national spirit, patriotism, a love for literary art, and respect for cultural heritage.

The competition included several categories, such as:

— public speaking and intellectual skills

— artistic reading

— essay writing

— performance on traditional musical instruments

— aitys (improvised poetic contest)
