Regional Forum of Anchor Schools

The Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kyzylorda hosted a regional forum that brought together educational institutions participating in the national project “Developing the Potential of Rural Schools.” The event gathered over one hundred principals, teachers, special education professionals, and laboratory assistants from rural schools.

During the plenary session, participants discussed pressing issues related to the development of rural education. In thematic workshops, teachers from anchor schools presented effective pedagogical practices, trainers from the Center for Pedagogical Excellence conducted facilitation sessions, and teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools held practical classes demonstrating modern teaching approaches.

Since 2023, Secondary School No. 286 of the Zhanakorgan District has been a participant in the national project. Collaboration with NIS has supported the implementation of a research-based educational project, which received an invitation to be presented at the international WALS Conference to be held in Japan this November.

The forum became a significant event in the regional education system, aimed at strengthening professional cooperation and integrating innovative practices into the work of rural schools.
