The First Student Aitys Held at NIS Kyzylorda

For the first time, a student aitys — a traditional Kazakh poetic improvisation competition — was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kyzylorda. Students from grades 7 to 9 took part, showcasing their talents in impromptu verse.

The young performers exchanged poetic lines on themes such as national unity, love for the homeland, education, and spirituality.

Throughout the event, the participants demonstrated remarkable wit, eloquence, and respect for national values.

According to the organizers, this initiative is expected to become a regular tradition aimed at fostering students’ appreciation of national art and cultural heritage.

The inaugural aitys was warmly received by both students and teachers, leaving the audience with a profound spiritual impression.
