A regional meeting of young teachers was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Kyzylorda, organized by the Center for Pedagogical Excellence and bringing together about 150 educators. The participants had the opportunity to enhance their professional competencies, exchange experiences, and present their own pedagogical ideas.
Deputy Head of the Department of Education of the Kyzylorda region, Askhat Kanatov, and Director of the local branch of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence, Sofiya Kamalova, delivered welcoming remarks, highlighting the active role of young specialists in the development of the modern education system.
“This year, special attention has been given to the topic of artificial intelligence. We aimed to organize everything in a modern format, creating a space for sharing experiences and ideas. Such meetings contribute to teachers’ professional growth, the development of their creative potential, and the formation of new approaches to teaching and learning,” – noted Sofiya Kamalova.
During the motivational session, prominent figures of the region and the country shared their success stories: Director of Kyzylorda NIS Akbar Tusupbaev, researcher Nurbol Appazov, poet Abai Kalshabek, Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Nurlan Kulmyrzaev, and young teacher Baldyrgan Kozhatay.
The practical part of the meeting featured a variety of workshops and interactive sessions. Teachers explored methods of integrating artificial intelligence tools into the educational process, techniques of gamification, and approaches to interdisciplinary learning.
Mathematics teacher of Secondary School No. 210 in the Syrdarya district, Zamanbek Amanbekov, conducted a workshop titled “Gamification in Math”, demonstrating how play-based learning can make mathematics a favorite subject among students.
“Today, one of the most effective tools to increase students’ interest in a subject is gamification. My developed set ‘MathBox’ includes UNO-style math cards, comics with QR codes, and mini-boards for pair work. These elements combine games, modern technologies, and the capabilities of artificial intelligence. As a result, students’ academic performance has increased by 63% over the past three years,” – shared the young teacher.
Team-based activities and intellectual challenges helped participants develop logical thinking and communication skills. In conclusion, young specialists exchanged impressions and shared suggestions for improving the professional environment.
This educational gathering became a significant event that united young teachers of the region, opened new opportunities for collaboration, encouraged the exchange of innovative ideas, and strengthened the professional community.
