The 4th National Philanthropy Conference, “Systemic Philanthropy: Sustainability, Partnership, Legacy,” was held in Kyzylorda. The event brought together more than 500 delegates from across the country, including teachers and representatives of educational institutions.
The Qazaqstan Khalkyna Public Foundation implements projects aimed at addressing social issues in various fields, including education. One of its key initiatives is the “Capacity Development of Rural Anchor Schools” project. To date, 180 rural schools across Kazakhstan have been able to improve their infrastructure and learning conditions. NIS Kyzylorda serves as a partner of the foundation in implementing this project, supporting eight rural schools in the region in adopting modern teaching practices.
Teachers receive regular methodological support through courses, training sessions, master classes, and internships hosted at NIS. These efforts contribute to enhancing teachers’ professional competence and improving the overall quality of education.
The Al-Farabi Lyceum School No. 201 in the Zhalagash district joined the project last year:
“We can see real changes. Teachers have gained new opportunities for professional growth, and this has directly impacted student achievement. Last year, the quality of students’ knowledge increased to 57 percent,” – noted Deputy Principal Aikyn Zhaksylykova.
