Familiarization of Seventh Graders with the School Library

At NIS Kyzylorda, library and bibliographic knowledge lessons were organized for seventh grade students. During these sessions, the students learned the rules for using the library, explored its collection, and became acquainted with projects, campaigns, and various events regularly held for schoolchildren.

The library’s collection consists of about 25,000 books in Kazakh, Russian, and English. It includes textbooks, works of fiction, reference materials, popular science literature, as well as periodicals. The collection is continuously enriched with electronic publications and multimedia applications, making the library a modern and versatile source of information.

In addition, the seventh graders were introduced to modern electronic educational resources such as Twig-bilim, Bilimland, iTest, and Gale. These platforms not only support students in their studies but also expand opportunities for independent learning and knowledge acquisition.
