Students visited a glass factory

Shanyrak “Begim ana” of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Kyzylorda had the opportunity to visit one of the largest production facilities in the region and get acquainted with glass production. Representatives of the ORDA GLASS LTD company conducted an introductory tour and showed how sheet glass is produced from quartz sand and sodium carbonate, which is widely used today in various industries. The plant is equipped with modern, latest technologies and installations. The maximum daily output is 600 tons of float glass. Products are sold on the markets of Russia, Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries. During the excursion, the children expanded their knowledge about glassmaking and also received professional support in choosing a future profession.
