24 June 2025 11:53
Students of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Kyzylorda, Ernur Sadu and Aidar Bizhanuly, took third place at the national stage of the World Robot Olympiad 2025, held in Shymkent.
The competition brought together nearly 300 participants from all regions of Kazakhstan. Half of the teams represented general education schools, including 10 teams from rural areas. The event was organized by the Autonomous Educational Organization "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools." The theme of this year's Olympiad — "Robots of the Future" — inspired students to develop projects aimed at solving real-world challenges through innovation and technology.
The Olympiad featured four categories: RoboMission, Future Innovators, RoboSports, and Future Engineers. In the Future Engineers category, the team from NIS Kyzylorda secured a place among the top three, demonstrating strong technical skills, creative problem-solving, and advanced engineering thinking.
Two additional teams from NIS Kyzylorda also showed impressive results in the RoboMission category. Maksutbek Birlik and Zhenis Abilkhaіr, as well as Sunkar Absalyam and Zharkynbek Akhmetov, received special diplomas for achieving the best scores in their respective rounds.
These outstanding results were made possible thanks to the guidance of experienced mentors — Serik Akhmetov and Madi Zhumatayev — who continue to inspire students to explore technological creativity and develop their engineering potential.
