Students of NIS Kyzylorda Win Second Place at My Extra Case Competition

A team of students from Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Kyzylorda — Ayazhan Torebek, Kymbat Kozhasova, Ramazan Akkali, Aruay and Bakdaulet Ibaydulla — took second place at the national stage of the My Extra Case Competition. As finalists, the students received a certificate worth 300,000 tenge, as well as academic scholarships from Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunication (Energo University).

The Kyzylorda team’s project focused on developing a strategic marketing plan for positioning Me Extra Lab University. The students proposed practical solutions aimed at promoting the educational product in a competitive market environment.
The team was supervised by Serik Zhayyrbayev, teacher of Global Perspectives and Project Work.

The competition brought together 450 teams from across Kazakhstan. Following a rigorous multi-stage selection process, only nine of the strongest teams advanced to the final round. The finalists represented the cities of Karaganda, Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Kyzylorda, Uralsk, Atyrau, Semey, and Shchuchinsk. They presented projects addressing real-world challenges in the fields of business, society, and finance.
