NIS Reading Together

As part of the project "NIS Birge Oqiik," the NIS Kyzylorda school library organized a joint event with curators and educators, dedicated to the works of Berdibek Sokpakbaev's "Ana zhüregi" and Sherkhan Murtaza's "Internat nany."

Seventh and eighth-grade students discussed the books, sharing their thoughts and impressions. Interactive methods were used for analysis, such as "Write around," which helps with collective text analysis, and the "Dictionary of Values" method, which helps to reflect on the moral aspects of the works.

The books addressed themes of maternal care, friendship, and moral choices. Participants considered how these values are reflected in the lives of the characters and in real life. The event demonstrated how literature can help us better understand ourselves and the world around us.
