Student self—government is a form of participation of students of an Intellectual School in self-government, which provides for the participation of students together with the teaching staff and the leadership of an intellectual school in solving problems in the organization of the educational process. The main purpose of the organization of student self-government of Intellectual schools is: the realization of students' rights to participate in the management of intellectual schools, the education of a personality with bright organizational qualities, capable of making decisions, responsible and disciplined, ready for independent choice and taking an active life position in an Intellectual school. The school has developed and approved regulatory and legal documents of self-government: Regulations on school self-government; Regulations on the election of student self-government bodies; The work plan of the student government. In general, the work of the local government is changing every year in a new direction. The new academic year begins with the creation of a new ministerial staff, as is customary for self-government, and the holding of new presidential elections. First of all, candidates write an essay titled "Why I deserve to be President of NIS." Further campaigning work is carried out. The activities of the Student Self-government of the school are coordinated by the deputy director for educational work, the coordinator of Student Self-government, teachers-organizers-curators. The Coordinator of Student Self-Government, together with Ministers in areas, Class Assets and Class Elders, develop work plans for Student Self-government; assist the School Government and Class Assets in organizing and conducting classroom and school events; provide support in all areas of student activity in school life: studies, social work, sports, relationships with other members of the student body, teachers and parents.
