On December 12, 2024, at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Karaganda, within the framework of the "Smart Thursday" project, a meeting was held for students in grades 7-12 with a legend of Kazakhstani football, the goalkeeper of the FC Shakhter Karaganda and the national team of Kazakhstan, Igor Shatsky. The event was organized by physical education teachers and the school ministry. The honored guest shared his journey in professional football, the most difficult and important matches in his career, and the development of Kazakhstani football. Additionally, Igor Valeryevich participated in the awarding ceremony of the winners and prizewinners of the NIS CHAMPIONS LEAGUE futsal competition among 7-12 grade students. The special guest presented cups and certificates to the prizewinners. Players who won in 4 categories received certificates and valuable prizes. The students of the school received an incredible boost of energy and positive emotions from the meeting with the famous athlete and wished him continued success in his outstanding football career!
