Grand Prix at the V International Competition-Festival of Arts “Daryndy Zhuldyzdar”

Two students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Petropavlovsk won the Grand Prix at the V International Competition-Festival of Arts “Daryndy Zhuldyzdar”, which was held in Tashkent. Yasmin Zhetpisbayeva won the highest award in the Fine Arts nomination, and Darina Alshyn was out of competition among all participants in the Decorative and Applied Arts nomination.
Darina Alshyn presented her felt triptych called “Rukhani beibitshilik aimagi” to the competition, which she dedicated to the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. In her work, Darina reflected the spiritual heritage and architectural grandeur of this historical monument, conveying in every detail her deep respect for the cultural roots of Kazakhstan.
Yasmin Zhetpisbayeva, in turn, presented to the jury a painting on canvas called “Korkem". In her work, the student showed her subtle artistic flair, impressing the judges with the unique style and depth of the image of the Kazakh girl. The works created with soul and great love for their culture did not leave the jury members indifferent, which allowed both girls to deservedly receive the grand Prix at the prestigious international competition-festival.
The schoolgirls also received vouchers for the next international children's festival, which will be held in October this year in Istanbul. In addition to participating in the competition, the students had the opportunity to explore the sights of the capital of Uzbekistan, which became an unforgettable cultural experience for them.
The teacher of the students, Aizhan Dairova, was also awarded a letter of thanks for her inspiring work and contribution to the development of children's creative abilities.
