Meeting with the famous traditional singer Yerlan Ryskali

A meeting with the Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, teacher of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov, artistic director of the state concert association "Qazaqconcert", famous traditional singer Yerlan Ryskali took place at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Petropavlovsk.

Students of grades 8-9 of the school gathered for the meeting. They got to know the artist's creative path better, learned a lot about the national treasure — dombra, its history and significance in the culture of the Kazakh people. Yerlan Ryskali also spoke about the traditions of Kazakh song art, its spiritual value and its role in shaping national identity. The students listened with interest to the works of the great Abai, as well as folk songs performed live by the singer, asked questions and shared their impressions.

Today, the traditional singer continues the traditions of Segiz Seri, Birzhan Sala and Akan Seri. At the end of the meeting, Yerdan Ryskali gave his blessing to the NIS students and left an entry with wishes in the book of honorary guests of the school. Students are looking forward to such inspiring and spiritual events.
