The students of the NIS of Petropavlovsk read the poems of the great Abai and honored his memory

This year marks the 179th anniversary of the birth of the great poet, teacher, educator, philosopher-founder of the Kazakh literary language, composer, translator, politician Abai Kunanbayuly. In honor of the significant date, a literary and musical evening “Ole-sozdin patshasy, soz sarasy” was organized in the city House of Culture. It was attended by students of city schools who recited the works of the great poet by heart, and paid tribute to the spirit of the great poet.

The event was also attended by students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Petropavlovsk. Aydana Bekpenova expressively read Abai's poems “Gylym tappai mactanba”, “Zhaz”, Jasmine Serikpai “Kys” and Janelle Tursunova “Senbe zhurtka tursa da kansha mactap". During the event, students were provided with a lot of information about the life and works of the great son of the Kazakh people.
