Teachers of NIS Petropavlovsk shared their experience with teachers of the region

A meeting was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Natural Mathematics in Petropavlovsk as part of the broadcast of the pedagogical experience of English language teachers.

About 20 teachers from secondary schools of the city and the region took part in the event. NIS teachers demonstrated how they develop all four language skills — listening, speaking, reading and writing - in their lessons. During the master classes, they also presented various vocabulary expansion tasks, various forms of assessing students' knowledge, and showed how lessons are structured with an emphasis on developing critical thinking and independence.

After the lessons, the participants had a reflection and discussion, where they exchanged opinions, asked questions and shared their impressions. Teachers noted that such meetings help not only to learn from experience, but also inspire the search for new solutions in teaching.

Such events contribute to the professional growth of teachers and strengthen cooperation between schools in the region.
