A team of educators from NIS Uralsk visited Kaztalov School-Lyceum as part of the “Developing the Potential of Partner Schools in Rural Areas” project.
The meeting began with a Bookcrossing ceremony, where books were handed over by teachers from the Intellectual School. After introductions, the teachers of the lyceum invited the guests to attend open lessons in mathematics, biology, chemistry, and physics. Following the lessons, a comprehensive analysis was conducted using the Lesson Study approach and the Lesson Observation Sheet.
The NIS team conducted subject-specific workshops on topics that posed challenges for their colleagues and provided recommendations for preparing students for academic competitions. Special attention was given to involving students in research projects, with Kaztalov School-Lyceum students receiving feedback on their work.

Additionally, the team presented library projects and initiatives from Intellectual Schools and discussed various social projects. The topic of organizing a debate club was also addressed. The event concluded with a meeting for parents of 6th-grade students from Kaztalov School-Lyceum and A. Orazbayeva School, where the “Orken” grant selection process was explained.
Educators from NIS Uralsk shared their valuable expertise on key areas of interest, and collaborative discussions with school teams set the stage for plans for future meetings.
