NIS URALSK TEACHERS SHARE EXPERTISE IN STEM

A seminar titled “Developing Students’ Research Skills in STEM Lessons” was held at NIS Uralsk, with participation from teachers undergoing internships at the Center for Pedagogical Excellence.

The seminar aimed to showcase methods for preparing STEM projects and organizing student participation in various competitions in this field. Attendees observed open lessons by the school’s chemistry teachers, Gulsim Kimatova and Mary Bejerano, as well as a workshop on 3D modeling and Tinkercad software conducted by robotics club leader Armat Maksatov.

The event was led by Medet Bissekenov, Head of the Advanced Laboratory of Engineering Creativity and Information Technology, who shared insights into the creation, development, and management of scientific projects. He also presented technical models of award-winning projects from various scientific competitions and showcased laboratory work conducted by students of the STEM laboratory.

Participants noted the wealth of valuable information they received from the Intellectual School teachers and expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to gain such meaningful experience.
