“NIS HACKATHON – 2026”: PRIZE-WINNING PLACE AND EDUCATIONAL GRANT

Within the framework of the network competition "NIS Hackathon – 2026", students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Uralsk demonstrated outstanding results. The intellectual contest among students of grades 9–12 was held in the city of Taraz and brought together the most talented and creative participants. Over the course of 24 hours, teams worked in an intensive mode, developing prototypes of mobile applications, web services, and other digital solutions.
Based on the results of the competition, Baurzhan Amirzhan, a student of grade 10 "C" of our school, together with his team claimed an honourable 3rd place and received a certificate worth 50,000 tenge. Ayan Mankeyev, a student of grade 10 "A", together with his team won in the nomination "Best Technical Solution".
Furthermore, Ayan Mankeyev, who received a special commendation from the jury, was awarded a 100% educational grant from one of the country's most prestigious universities — the Kazakh-British Technical University.
