THE WINNERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION “ART FEST ASIA”

The “Ғажайып” Dance Ensemble of Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Uralsk became the winner of the International Competition “Art Fest Asia.”

Approximately 1,000 participants from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, and Russia took part in the competition. Over the course of four days, professional choreographers from different countries evaluated the performances of the talented contestants.

As a result of the competition, Grade 10 student Alen Ayanat was awarded the Grand Prix in the solo nomination for her dance “Nazdanu.” In the “Duet” nomination, Grade 9 students Aldiyar Kudaibergenov and Zhailau Perizat won first place with their dance composition “Dala Sazy” (supervised by Aslan Tleugaliev).

The Art Fest Asia festival included not only competitive performances but also professional exchange. Leaders of creative groups met to discuss the development of performing arts. On behalf of the school, Vice Principal of Student Affairs Elvira Aydinaliyeva delivered a presentation entitled “Dance Art as a Means of Value Education in an Intellectual School” and spoke about the activities of the “Ғажайып” ensemble.

It is also worth noting that the students received invitations to international festivals that will take place this summer in Georgia and Turkey.
