The charitable ball “Ән-ғұмыр”, filled with the melodies of Shamshi and imbued with a spirit of kindness, brought joy and heartfelt warmth to its guests for the fifth time this year.

The Shamshi Evening, organized at the initiative of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Uralsk, is not merely an event featuring refined music, graceful dances, and impressive stage performances. It is a meaningful and substantial project that enriches both the heart and the mind, filling every artistic expression with deep significance.

Within the framework of the charitable ball, students are instilled with the core values of the NIS network: respect and responsibility, creative freedom, and strong family relationships. Such meaningful events contribute to the spiritual development of students, helping them gain a deeper understanding of moral principles and universal human values.

Over the past five years, audiences have been consistently introduced to various stages of Shamshi Kaldyakov’s life journey. His youth, inspired creative work, friendships, and spiritual unity with fellow writers and poets are re-imagined each year through new artistic stage interpretations. This year, the ball was held under the title “Shamshi’s Songs — On the Waves of the Zhaiyk”, vividly highlighting his spiritual connection with writers and poets of the Ural region. For students, this became a wonderful opportunity to engage more deeply with the world of art and literature and to draw closer to national culture.

For this reason, the Shamshi Ball can rightfully be called a successful project in which education and upbringing are harmoniously combined through art, inspiring the younger generation to perform good deeds and to show care for others.

The evening was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including respected representatives of the regional education sector, principals of city and regional schools, and heads of various institutions. The Principal of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Uralsk, Zhuldyz Saparkyzy, expressed sincere gratitude to those gathered and voiced her confidence that this noble initiative will continue to expand its horizons in the future.

Taking this opportunity, special appreciation is extended to the long-standing partner of the charitable ball — the Association of Business Women of the West Kazakhstan Region, which has consistently supported the event since 2019. At the conclusion of the evening, on behalf of the Chair of the Association, Z. Toremuratova, letters of appreciation and commemorative gifts were presented to the organizers.

It should be noted that the funds raised during the traditional charitable ball will be allocated to provide financial assistance to a junior staff member of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Uralsk, a single father.
