The second half of the academic year began with a bright victory. The “Ғажайып” dance ensemble of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Uralsk became the winner in three nominations at the international “Art Fest Baku” competition held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Talented performers from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Russia, and Kazakhstan took part in the event. Our school’s “Ғажайып” ensemble won the Grand Prix for the choreographic performances “Bozbala Birligi” and “Zhuzderdin Bas Kosuy”, and also took 1st place for a duet dance performed by our students — Tamerlan Shymbolat and Danabek Tölegen.

“The competition featured dancers of a professional level. I would like to emphasize that our students performed at the highest level, fully revealing their talents. They proved that they can be not only intellectual leaders but also outstanding artists. We prepared well and deservedly won two Grand Prix awards and one first place,” — said the ensemble’s coach, Aslan Tleugaliev.
