Triumphant Success of Tidal Tumble in the USA!

From June 13 to 15, the city of Worcester, Massachusetts (USA), hosted the prestigious WPI Annual FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) Event (WAFFLE) at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. The international championship brought together around 650 teams from 108 countries, all showcasing their engineering solutions and innovative ideas.

The Tidal Tumble team from the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Uralsk delivered an outstanding performance on the world stage, becoming finalists in the Engineering Excellence Awards category — the equivalent of second place!

This remarkable achievement is a source of pride not only for the school, but for the entire nation.

The young innovators — Alikhan Serik, Tair Nazar, Adlet Seytenov, Ilyas Serikov, Tair Uashev, Nurymkhan Berkin, Adilkhan Serikov, Farrukh Torekhozha, and Azat Abdrakhmanov — demonstrated exceptional knowledge, creativity, and engineering talent, proudly representing Kazakhstan at an international forum.

The team’s scientific supervisor is Armat Bolatovich Maksotov.
