NIS Uralsk Student Wins Silver at International Al-Khwarizmi Olympiad

Meirbek Murat, a 9th-grade student at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Uralsk, has proudly represented Kazakhstan on the international stage.
From May 7 to 13, 2025, the 3rd International Al-Khwarizmi Olympiad in mathematics and computer science was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Competing as a member of the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Meirbek achieved an impressive 2nd place, earning a silver medal at this prestigious global event.
His success is the result of dedicated preparation by his teacher, the highly qualified educator Galiya Berkairovna Ibragimova. Their perseverance and teamwork played a key role in reaching this outstanding milestone.
