On April 11, the IX Regional Scientific and Practical Conference titled “Professional Teaching Community: Cooperation for the Successful Development of Rural Schools” was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Uralsk. The event served as a large-scale platform for sharing knowledge, experience, ideas, and fostering professional partnerships.
The conference brought together leading education professionals from the western region of Kazakhstan, including principals of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools from Atyrau, Aktobe, and Aktau, heads of regionally governed schools, and experienced teachers. The conference was held in a hybrid format — both online and offline.
The sectional sessions became an effective platform for professional dialogue, experience exchange, and dissemination of modern pedagogical practices. Participants engaged in open discussions on current issues in the education system, shared insights, and proposed strategies to expand opportunities for rural schools.
In the second half of the day, the conference continued on the school premises. Teachers took part in twelve subject-specific sessions and various thematic activities, which became arenas for showcasing pedagogical expertise and creativity. A professional competition was also held among eight partner schools collaborating with NIS Uralsk. The contest reflected the high level of competence and creative potential of its participants.
Poster sessions, the plenary meeting, “Pedagogical Duets”, and masterclasses were conducted in various formats, all united by a common goal — to present innovative projects aimed at advancing education. Teachers not only shared their successful practices but also presented ideas that could shape the educational landscape of the future.
This conference marked an important step toward reducing the gap between urban and rural schools and creating equal educational opportunities for all. The unity, collaboration, and mutual support of the professional teaching community once again proved to be a key driver of sustainable development and meaningful transformation in the education system.
