A meeting with the leader of the Abylai Khan's Black Road expedition was held at NIS Kokshetau.

The school hosted a meeting with public figure, member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, honorary professor of Sh. Ualikhanov University, local historian, and history popularizer Murat Kazhy Ydyrysuly.

The guest of honor at the event was also a descendant of Shokan Ualikhanov, Malikov Dulat Sergalyuly.

Murat Kazhy Ydyrysuly is the leader of the expedition “Abylai Khan's Black Road” and the compiler of the collection of the same name. During the meeting, he told the students about the significance of the historical route, shared his impressions of the expedition, personal experiences, and discoveries made during the trip.

The students were particularly interested in stories about places associated with the era of Ablai Khan, as well as reflections on the importance of preserving historical memory and national heritage. The open dialogue format allowed participants to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of the role of historical research in shaping civic attitudes.
