International "Strong Family" Program Launches at NIS Kokshetau

30 January 2026 13:22

NIS Kokshetau has officially commenced a series of sessions for Grade 7 students and their parents as part of the "Strong Family" international program. Developed in collaboration with specialists from Oxford Brookes University (UK), the project aims to foster trust and strengthen relationships during the critical period of adolescent adaptation.

The program's curriculum is built on deep interaction: participants learn how to champion children’s dreams and goals, understand the significance of family meetings, and develop collaborative problem-solving skills. A key focus is placed on the psychological resilience of teenagers—equipping them with the tools to resist peer pressure and manage stress through the support of their loved ones. Through interactive workshops, parents and students rediscover the value of mutual respect and master the art of constructive dialogue.

The project is professionally facilitated by school trainers: Marta Mushel, Aizhan Zholdasbayeva, Gulmira Yeleuova, and Dilnaz Kairkenova. The organizers are confident that these meetings not only reinforce family bonds but also establish a solid foundation for the successful academic journey and harmonious personal growth of every student.
