Anastasia Bratko – among the best basketball players in the country

Anastasia Bratko, a ninth-grade student at NIS Kokshetau, demonstrated outstanding results at the national and international levels, confirming her high level of athletic training.

At the 20th International Basketball Tournament dedicated to the memory of KazSSR education honours student and all-Union referee Kadyrbek Uspanov, Anastasia and her team won an honourable third place. The competition featured the strongest teams of girls born in 2010-2011.

Her success at the international level was confirmed by a confident performance at the Republic of Kazakhstan Championship among girls born in 2011-2012. After a series of intense matches, Anastasia's team took second place.

A special personal achievement for the athlete was the recognition of the expert commission: Anastasia Bratko was awarded the prestigious individual award - the nomination “Best Player” of the Republic of Kazakhstan Championship. This award confirms not only Anastasia's technical skills, but also her leadership qualities on the playing field.
