NIS Kokshetau Student Becomes a Prize Winner of the “Zerde” Scientific Project Competition

18 December 2025 16:09

Aiaru Suindik, a 7th-grade student of NIS Kokshetau, won third place at the “Zerde” scientific project competition. She presented a research project entitled “Solving Geometric Problems Using the Properties of Angle Bisectors.”

Aiaru has been working on the project since September under the supervision of mathematics teacher Gulnar Nurmukhambetova. The main objective of the research was to identify new properties of angle bisectors and demonstrate their application in solving Olympiad-level geometry problems. According to the supervisor, the project has a logical continuation and strong potential for further development.

Gulnar Nurmukhambetova noted that project-based learning is a multi-stage process that is assessed not only by the final result. In 2025, the key indicators of success are the depth of research and the author’s independence. Working on a scientific project helps students develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to see tasks through to completion—qualities that are a priority in the modern education system.
