A round table dedicated to the 110th anniversary of Ilyas Esenberlin, one of the key figures in Kazakh historical prose and author of the legendary trilogy “Nomads,” was held at NIS Kokshetau.
The special guest of the event was Zhadyr Aubakirova, head of the department of public events and public relations at the Magzhan Zhumabayev Akmola Regional Universal Scientific Library. During the conversation, she talked about the writer's life, the peculiarities of his artistic method, and why Nomads became an important part of the national historical memory.
Of particular interest were the posters prepared by 9th grade students based on the trilogy. The students did not limit themselves to retelling the events – they presented visual interpretations of key episodes, demonstrating a deep understanding of the work. The guest highly praised the participants' work, noting their analytical approach and creative thinking.
At the end of the meeting, Zhadyr Aubakirova presented the students with books, emphasizing that a love of literature is formed through such open, sincere, and intellectually rich dialogues.
