Sport shapes character

The school hosted an evening dedicated to healthy lifestyles, entitled “Sport shapes character,” organized by the “Ulagatty Akeler” club. The aim of the event was to motivate schoolchildren to take up sports and lead healthy lifestyles, as well as to introduce them to the basics of freestyle wrestling.

The guests of the evening were a highly qualified coach, founder of the Zhiger sports club Olzhas Ashimov and his students, outstanding freestyle wrestlers:

Yerhan Beksultan, Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, multiple national champion, Asian and world champion, and winner of various international tournaments.

During the evening, participants were able to learn more about the athletes' success stories, their sports training, and the values that sport instills. The event showed how sport builds character, discipline, and the desire to win.
