Alina Aubakirova took 3rd place in the online chess tournament

NIS Kokshetau students won prizes in the online chess competition between NIS and International Steppe School of Astana schools. This year, the tournament brought together 208 participants, creating a platform for the development of logical thinking, strategic approach, and sportsmanship, as well as for the exchange of experience between schools.

Alire Aubakirova, a 6th grade student at our school, took 3rd place in the individual competition among girls in grades 5-6.

In the team competition among students in grades 5-6, the NIS Kokshetau team showed a high result, winning 2nd place among all branches of the network. The team consisted of 6th grade students Alira Aubakirova, Ailin Aubakirova, Artem Ognev, and Darkhan Doshozhin.

The systematic work of teachers is behind the preparation of the children. Kanat Belgibaev was the team's leading mentor, accompanying the participants at all stages of preparation.
